I'm based in Ipswich, QLD but can travel from the Sunshine Coast down to Byron Bay

Hey, I’m Chrystal, photographer, storyteller, chaos coordinator, and professional V-drinker (seriously, someone should sponsor me at this point).


I spend my days juggling police work, raising two tiny humans, wrangling three rowdy dogs, and somehow still managing to chase the perfect golden light with my camera in hand. Sleep? Overrated.


Photography isn’t just a job for me, it’s the way I see the world. The little things matter. The way hands find each other, the stolen glances, the quiet moments that speak louder than words. I don’t do stiff, awkward posing because, let’s be real, no one actually stands like that in real life.

Instead, I’ll prompt you, guide you, and maybe even make you snort-laugh until the real you shines through.


I love the moody, the romantic, the imperfectly perfect. I’m not here for the cookie-cutter shots; I’m here to tell your story, as it is, in all its beautiful, messy, unscripted magic. Whether it’s a couple tangled up in each other, a mother tracing the curve of her baby’s cheek, or a family caught in a fit of giggles, these are the moments that matter. And I’ll be there, camera in hand, heart wide open, ready to capture them.
